RESOLVE- POEM ON THE OCCASION OF WORLD TEACHERS' DAY
RESOLVE
Strange are the moments when people
show distrust in us,
Bizarre are the ways with
which people share their own fear and insecurities as ‘ours’ in a gush.
This distrust, fear and
insecurities is the result of their life experience,
Explorer Oh Explorer! RESOLVE
not to own it as this is the part of their weariness.
It is the time tested
principle of our universe,
That construction begins only
after destruction.
It is this creative
destruction which is often required for re-construction,
Explorer Oh Explorer! RESOLVE
not to be the part of this worldly congestion.
The everyday phenomena
experienced by us is inadequacy,
For we must appreciate this
as it only drives us for invention and discovery.
What appears to be the
horizon, is nothing but a child fiction,
Explorer Oh Explorer! RESOLVE
not to be torn out by such common diction.
At times we must break our monotony
and introduce dichotomy,
Imprudence will broil if we
wait for people’s approval once our heart and soul are in perfect harmony.
What people show us as a
waste, is indeed a challenge for us to see as a chaste,
Explorer Oh Explorer! RESOLVE
not to be in haste to out rightly discard it as your taste.
Who can teach us the way of
human behavior better than the nature,
For the same Moon is often
criticized for its size and stature.
The fault is, neither of
critics nor of moon,
Explorer Oh Explorer! RESOLVE
not to make their limited perception ability as your own.
We are born free with all
emotions intact, irrespective of religion, caste, sex, creed and class,
The point worth noting is the
second’s hand from where the child’s expressions become a mass.
It is the point when he looks
for approval for his natural expressions,
Explorer Oh Explorer! RESOLVE
not to be affected by any disapproved gestures.
We all are Universe within, born free with a
zeal for life,
Must needed is to ensure that
pessimism never pervades in this strive.
Unbound all shackles that
hold you back,
Explorer Oh Explorer! RESOLVE
that you are in this world to unpack your sack.

THE CONDUCT- POEM
THE
CONDUCT
Through
this poem, I intend to share the thought that often it is said that words are powerful but as per my
observations, I have sensed that silence is more powerful than the words and even
more powerful than silence is the conduct of a person which indeed makes
his existence immortal.
- Daksha
Sharma
Words are indeed powerful,
For they make the person immortal.
In absentia, words make a person’s presence felt,
And in his presence, they make his presence more
articulate.
Right they are, who say that a person never dies if he is
alive in the memory,
For we must understand that ours is a soulful existence
which cannot be calculated in a century.
But more powerful than the words is the silence,
And those who understand your silence know your heart’s
cadence.
However, it raises a pertinent question herein,
Those who can’t speak have a mortal existence it means.
The response unfolds itself in innumerous ways,
Like the Lotus blossoms fully in the sun’s rays.
And indicates from all possibilities,
That more than the words, the conduct has the gentilities.
Conduct includes one’s behavior, actions, intent and
attitude,
And that is the reason they say;
It is not your aptitude but your attitude that decides
your altitude.
Thus, the analogy is drawn with irreversibility,

THE UNRAVELLER- POEM ON TEACHERS
©
THE UNRAVELLER
Through
this poem, I pay my deepest tribute to all my teachers who have helped me in
evolving myself at various stages of life and carved out the ‘Real Me’ from the
set of confused state of being. Without your timely guidance and support, it
would not have been possible for me to reach where I am today and think, write,
speak and conduct myself the way I can now do now.
THANK YOU AND HAPPY
TEACHER’S DAY!!
The one who lights my path while burning
oneself is You,
The one who shows me the way in dark
glitches of gloomy state is You.
The Giver in all forms is you, the
Protector in all forms is You,
Equivalent to the Supreme Power is You,
THE UNRAVELLER of innumerous possibilities is You.
You are the Voice- deep and melodious,
making the perfect rhythm of my life,
You are the Face of Hope- bright and
aesthetic taking me out of despondency.
You are the Supreme Power, for you
sense and guide me in realizing my potentials and purpose of life,
You are beyond worldly existence, for
what you give me is ethereal.
Without you there is no progress of
mankind, without you the world will come to standstill,
No great person has ever reached the
pinnacle of success without You, And those who claim they did, are the ones
standing on the farcical hill.
You make and give the best human
resource to the Globe,
And still remains in the same mode.
Salute to Your Undying Spirit- THE
UNRAVELLER,
Who else you can be – You are my
TEACHER.

CRY YOU MUST- POEM ON EMOTIONS
CRY YOU MUST
Through this poem, I wish
to share with all the fellow human beings that crying should not be considered
as a sign of weakness and despondence. It rather symbolizes the strongness of
one’s character. Only strong people can cry as they have the courage to face
the emotional upheavals whereas weak always fear to confront the reality.
Crying lightens one’s mind, heart and soul and is one of the best ways to
discharge the negativity and stress. So, I request all of you to empathize with
the person who cries in front of you and is in genuine need of emotional
support from the society. Our synergies will certainly result in social
integration and social solidarity which is indeed the need of the hour.
-Daksha Sharma
When the times are tough,
And the roads are rugged.
When you feel low,
But have no one to show.
Cry you must, to clear the rust.
Crying is happiness in disguise,
For you must know, how light the ‘SELF’ finds.
When the tides are high,
And the escape is forlorn, you must sigh.
Cry you must, to clear the rust.
Strong people cry,
For they dare to confront their emotions.
Weak people can’t,
For they fear to face upheavals.
Cry you must, to clear the rust.
Crying lightens your mind, heart and soul,
As a human one must achieve this goal.
To cry is more important than to smile,
For true smile only comes after a heartful cry.
Cry you must, to clear the rust.
Crying is not shedding of tears,
Rather it is confronting the fears.
Crying as an emotion is often disgraced,
Whereas plastic smiles are considered to be the
‘GRACE’.
Crying must not be suppressed,
As it is the path to true happiness.
